Barbiebulls Shows were created to celebrate bull breeds while putting health, longevity and the future of our breeds at the heart of the show ring.
Alongside our breed and fun classes, we recognise the things that truly matter. Our Open Nostrils Awards celebrate dogs with visibly open nostrils and better breathing, while our Longevity Awards recognise the older dogs still standing proudly beside us — because health shouldn't stop mattering once a dog has won a ribbon or been bred from.
Our shows are also about the people behind the dogs. Community Award voting boxes are available at our events, giving people the opportunity to recognise those who have genuinely helped, supported or made a difference within the dog community.
There will always be rosettes, competition and plenty of fun — but Barbiebulls is about more than what a dog looks like in the ring. We want to celebrate healthier dogs, longer lives, responsible ownership and a stronger community around the breeds we love.

We're currently busy searching for our next Barbiebulls Show venues — and this time, we're looking for spaces that allow us to make our shows even more inclusive.
You've told us that you want responsibly owned cropped and docked dogs to be able to attend and take part too — and we've listened.
We're currently looking for suitable venues where this can be accommodated within the law, venue rules and appropriate insurance requirements, while keeping our shows safe, welcoming and accessible to everyone.
We won't rush into booking somewhere just for the sake of putting another date on the calendar. We want venues that fit what Barbiebulls stands for and allow us to keep developing our shows in the right direction.

PROPER JUDGING
Don't worry — we haven't dragged someone's auntie's neighbour in because they once owned a couple of dogs.
Our breed classes are judged by experienced, knowledgeable bullbreed judges. We also believe the next generation of judges has to learn somewhere, which is why we support and train apprentice judges alongside experienced judges.
The judge's decision on the day is FINAL. You won't always agree with it — that's showing dogs. Take your rosette, shake hands, congratulate the winner and enjoy the rest of your day.
Bad sportsmanship won't be tolerated.
EVERY BREED GETS ITS CLASS
If it's a breed recognised by Bullbreeds United, we will provide a class for it.
We don't believe in telling owners that five, ten or twenty dogs of their breed have to turn up before they're worthy of having a class.
One dog or twenty — your breed still matters.
Our BBU points system is separate. Minimum competition requirements may apply before Championship points can be awarded, but that does NOT take away from the class, placing, rosette or award your dog earns on the day.
We're still developing the BBU points and Championship system and we'll always be transparent about how it works.
One thing we're certain about: we don't believe a dog should be able to become a Champion in a weekend.
A Championship should mean something.
KEEPING SHOWING AFFORDABLE
We know what it costs to travel with dogs — fuel, food, accommodation and everything else that comes with a day out, especially in the current economy.
We try to keep our entry fees as low as reasonably possible because we'd rather see people enjoying their dogs than price people out of the ring.
Breed classes are paid for on the day.
Fun classes are PAY IN THE RING.
No massive pre-registration headache and no spending half the morning trying to work out who's paid for what. Fun classes move quickly, you pay when you enter the ring, and we keep the show moving.
HEALTH MATTERS HERE
Our shows aren't only about which dog looks best for five minutes in a ring.
Open Nostrils Awards, Longevity Awards and our wider health focus are part of what makes Barbiebulls different.
We want to celebrate dogs that can breathe, move and enjoy their lives — and recognise the older dogs who are still here beside us.
Health deserves a place in the show ring too.
LEAVE THE DRAMA AT HOME
Barbiebulls Shows are a fun day out with your dogs.
They are NOT the place to settle Facebook arguments, breeder fallouts, registry politics or whatever somebody said about somebody else online three months ago.
You don't have to like everybody.
You do have to behave.
Bring your dogs, bring the family, have a laugh, support each other and enjoy the day.
NO DRAMA LLAMAS. 🦙😂
Most importantly — win or lose, you should leave a Barbiebulls Show having enjoyed a day out with your dog.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT A BARBIEBULLS SHOW
We want our shows to do more than hand out rosettes.
As Barbiebulls and Bullbreeds United continue to grow, we'd like to introduce more opportunities for owners to access health and temperament testing at our future shows wherever possible.
We already have an experienced bullbreed behaviourist as part of our team who can offer temperament assessments on the day, and we'd love to build on this by working with veterinary and canine health professionals.
If you're a vet, veterinary professional, qualified health tester or canine professional who supports what we're trying to achieve — healthier bull breeds, better information and responsible breeding decisions — we'd love to hear from you.
We're particularly interested in professionals who may be able to offer suitable health screening or testing at future events.
We want to make genuine health information more accessible to ordinary owners and breeders, while encouraging people to test, record and understand their dogs' health throughout their lifetime.
