THIS IS NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST
Our Community Awards recognise genuine contribution, kindness and positive impact within the bull-breed community. Every nomination is judged on what the person has actually done and why they deserve recognition — not how many nominations they receive. One meaningful nomination can outweigh hundreds with no genuine reason behind them. Winners are chosen by Bullbreeds United after reviewing the nominations. There are no public finalists, nominee photos or leaderboards. Winners remain a surprise until the awards are announced.
COMMUNITY AWARDS
Recognising the people who make a real difference in the bull-breed community.
THE COMMUNITY CHAMPION
This could be a judge, registry owner, show ambassador, fundraiser, educator — the list is pretty much endless. This award recognises someone who goes above and beyond for their community.
THE DOG MAN
For the person whose life is dogs.
The one with a lifetime of knowledge, experience and dedication. The person others turn to for advice, whose understanding of dogs cannot simply be taught from a book or gained from a qualification.
Breeding, behaviour, health, handling, showing, bloodlines — they know dogs inside and out.
A true Dog Man doesn't just work with dogs. They live and breathe them.
THE MIRACLE WORKER
For the vet, vet nurse, breeder or everyday hero who stepped in when all hope seemed lost and helped save a dog's life.
THE UNSUNG HERO
For the person who gives their time, energy and heart to dogs without ever asking for recognition.
The one working quietly behind the scenes — helping, supporting, rescuing, fundraising, transporting, educating or simply being there whenever they're needed.
They may not have the biggest name or the loudest voice, but the difference they make is enormous.
This award is about finally recognising the person who never asks to be recognised.
THE FAIRY DOGMOTHER
For the woman every dog community needs.
The one who is always there with advice, support, encouragement and a helping hand. She shares her knowledge, gives her time freely and somehow seems to appear exactly when she's needed most.
Whether she's helping dogs, breeders, owners or complete strangers, she does it because she genuinely cares.
Every dog community has that special woman who makes things just that little bit better. This award is for her.
THE BACKBONE
For the person who holds everything together, often without anyone realising just how much they do.
The organiser, supporter, problem-solver and steady pair of hands working behind the scenes. The one people rely on, who turns up, gets things done and keeps going when everyone else is ready to give up.
They may not always be standing at the front, but without them, things simply wouldn't happen.
Every great community has a backbone. This award is for ours.
